Beautiful location, but Mosquitos are out of control

This place is nice and pretty. But when we opened the door tons of Mosquitos flew in. We are afraid to go outside of the rv.

Good Stop Over

We stayed here on the way back to Denver from Mount Rushmore. It is right off the highway and easy to find. We only stopped for the night and did not take advantage of any of the facilities. It was fine for what we needed.

Flies!

Nice folks in the office, but campground about a quarter of a mile away and flies we're vicious. Couldn't cook outside, sit outside or open door without letting a swarm into the rig. Sorry nice German guy who checked us in, I won't stay here again.

Flies flies and more flies

This park is fairly well kept on first impression. It has some nice ammenities, though I felt it was overpriced for what you get. We paid for a full service site, and though they had other sites available, they put us right next to the dumpsters and where people let their dogs potty and don't pick up. The flies were HORRIBLE. There are quite a few permanent residents, and very very few people traveling through, so a lot of the sites look worn and ugly. The lawn looks like it hasn't been mowed recently, and the smell of manure is ripe the minute you walk out of your RV. There are horses next door. I wouldn't stay here again. EVER.
