Dreadful Management, Dirty Facility
We stayed here five months last season, from November through March 2012. There was a hole in the decking at the pool the entire time we were there, it never was repaired. The pool furniture is filthy, the pool dirty as well. Never saw it being cleaned, not even once. The trash dumpster is frequently overflowing, we saw rodents there often. The water is incredibly foul smelling. The clubhouse is cleaned by volunteer residents since management does not. The laundry room is unbelievably dirty and the water so overloaded with chlorine it damages your clothing. Management appears to take no interest in complaints. It is not a dog friendly park; there were several aggressive and vicious dogs in residence and we personally witnessed two dogs attack a much smaller one. We were glad not to have a dog with us on this trip. It is located in a lovely spot along a river, folks who live there are friendly and there are lots of activities (all run by residents, not management). We would not stay there again.
Lettuce Lake does have billiards, golf nearby, boat launch next door to park and a very nice clubhouse where lots of activities happen.
I've been going to this park since 2008. I would not stay someplace that was not clean and orderly. The pool deck has all be reserfaced and very nice. The residents are all very nice. Study and view any park before you make a winter commitment.
