Great location for Anna Maria Island
Anita, The Manager is wonderful and a great resource for the area. All of the spots have paved stones and our campsite was just across the beach from Anna Maria Island, one of the top beaches in Florida. The smallest sites have road noise so we recommend you get a larger site.
Pleasant Surprise
Offers Passport America discount. Great location to see Anna Marie Island and lots of good restaurants. The park is a quaint place. It is very clean. Nicely landscaped paved spaces and pavers patio. Mostly back in spots, but there is plenty of room. There is access to a canal within the park. Bike ride to local beaches and shopping within minutes. Highly recommend Tide Tables, Gulf Drive Cafe, Stone and Fire Pizza and Swordfish Grill. Robinson Preserve, DeSoto National Monument park are all close by. River walk was also a great place to enjoy the outdoor water views.
Great location, well kept
Park is clean and well kept. Sites are level but a little tight. Bathhouse is small but new and clean. Sites in the front (sections C and D) are close to the road so there is some road noise. Also 10 AM checkout is the earliest I have seen. That being said, location is great, walking distance to several great restaurants in Cortez and a 10 minute drive to Coquina beach on Anna Maria island with ample free parking and access to a great beach.
