We have been going to this Palm beach county park for several years for quick getaways. It is very well maintained and inexpensive. We use full hookup options on the water. There is a very large lake and many of the campers are local weekend campers that bring their water crafts. Big Canadian population in the winter. Close to shopping and medical facilities for long term campers. We have met great friends that camp in large groups here. It is next to a small regional airport which my husband loves since he was a commercial pilot for 30 yrs. We are close to home but it feels like thousands of miles away.
Peaceful and beautiful park !
We are in transit and have spent two nights . Spacious park with serious crocodiles in the surrounding lakes. The kids missed having a swimming pool , .. Between the crocodile was not an option ;-)
Big Rig Friendly
Most spots full hook-up , fishing & boating lake, 10 minute ride to the ocean, large park near by with golfing. We stayed a week & tried to get another week but they were booked. This was in February. Suggested we book 90 days before we want to come to this park. Many French speaking people. Would go back, reasonable price. Clean restrooms. No pool. County park.
A great spot!
We live near this park and decided to bring our new motor home to the park for our first RV vacation. Lovely spot and very reasonable price. A very family like atmosphere with kids on bikes in the early evening. The staff is also very nice and even let us change sites mid stay.
