Great Experience
We have stayed here 4 times in the last two years. We stay on July 7, 2018. Ashten made us feel right at home from the call we made (because we took wrong exit) to checking in late around 8 pm. She was so nice and funny. This is why we keep returning to Arrowhead. Everything Happens for a Reason!! We found your RV park by chance because the rest stop on 10 did not allow overnite stays, so we got back on 10 and view your sign and decided to try your park out. This experience was why we come back. Sincerely,

Good location. Stayed in site 194, picked because I thought it was the flattest site. It?s took me three attempts to level out my Class A 36 foot RV.
Good campground
Nice campground on the river. Stayed one night enroute to Tampa. Close to interstate, nice staff, clean park. Lots of treed space to walk the dogs. Restaurant had good seafood, great staff. I would stay here again.
Sounds better than it is.
The surroundings are quite nice with a short walk around the edge of the lake and the pool is refreshing. That about where it ends. The first camp site they gave us was very sloped and we were unable to get some resemblance of level. Had my back tires 6 inches off the ground without success. Second site little better with the rear wheels up 3 inches but at least things did not roll off the counters. The site only had 30 amp service which is plenty BUT we kept popping the breaker when i checked we were only drawing 19 amps at 20 we popped the breaker. Lastly we were invaded by Ants. Had a steady stream coming up the steps so had to retract the steps all the time. But still the ants found there way into the coach and the bedroom and bathroom. Never had ants before so guess we will have the bomb the coach. Also the site did not have a picnic table so we asked if we could get one. They brought us a 5foot long table which looked more like a childs table which was burnt with a hole completely through one end. Personally $40 is way too much for this place even if we did not have the above issues. We stayed at a very nice place the night before for $22. I would not recommend this place and will never return.
Ok place
The map was deceiving in that it looked like there was a lot of greenery surrounding the park. Our view was a set of storage units and and old shop. The park is a bit run down: playground, pool, pond docks. Makes it look dirty. Didn't check bathrooms or laundry as we didn't need them. Though in a highway it was fairly quiet and must be near train tracks as we heard a train at night. Woke up to ants all over the interior of the coach. That was not pleasant. Everyone was polite and friendly but we will not return nor recommend. Too pricey for what you get and they did not honor our Good Sam because it was a holiday weekend. With a little TLC. this could be an awesome park as it has many beautiful trees and a great pond. Could put in new kids playground, shade at the pool, better canoes, privatize and cover the unsightly view from the chain link fence.
Arrowhead RV Park
We stayed three nights only because we had a short weekend. Sites are natural and not hard pads so there was some sloping issues. Scenery is okay if your by the water...if you're on the back side you'll be looking at storage units. The pool was nice and our kids had a blast. If it wasn't for the pool we would have left since there wasn't much else for the kids to do.
