NO LONGER A KOA CAMPGROUND
Not a KOA
If you have pets NOT A GOOD KOA TO GO
Adequate for overnight
Park was in ill repair, need to mow lawns. Had the normal KOA amenities. The people were very friendly and helpful. This was an odd KOA in the fact that it had storage buildings that looked like they were for rent, some people living there in various houses, and RV space. Corporate needs to spend some money repairing and cleaning up.
Muddy
Park needs maintenance. Sites and roads are dirt. It rained and was muddy. Gravel for the sites and roads is badly needed.
One night stay on return from Florida to Texas
We stayed at Pull-Thru, 50 Amp site on February 14, 2014. There is no Wifi Internet at site at the site, only in the office. There is no cable. They have with dirt roads to the sites with level gravel sites. The park is about 4 miles off of I-10 and yet just next to the Interstate, so you still hear highway noise. We will probably not stayin there again since the price was abut $42 without the usual amenities seen for that price.
Passing Through
This park is convenient for a one night stay when you need a rest but we would not stay here for an extended stay. Sites are sandy but generous for a big rig with a toad. Wi-Fi offered but we were never able to connect.
