Way off the beaten track
You get off 98, go about 9 miles, and then a few more down a dirt road. We were there during the week and there was a loud, drunken group that didn't quiet down until after 2 am. Doesn't appear to be any enforced quiet hours. The sites are ample, it is right on the Suwanee river, the showers are very nice, but I wouldn't go there again.
Great location.
Loved the park. Only draw back was that the sites were VERY sandy.
Scenic rating: 10
Moon's Florida Camping gives this campground a 10 for scenic appeal. It's because it sits on the Suwanee River and all you see is wilderness in all directions. In addition to that, the pool and hot tub are heated; not always the case in Florida in February.
If you want to be on the river, select sites 1 to 24. Sites have picnic tables, fire pits, and cable TV. Very nice campground. We were told it was renovated by the new owners a few years ago and they did a good job.
