Traveler Tips

Traveler Reviews
Crowded.
Stayed in site 64 with 24' trailer. Site was very narrow with ditch alongside that overflowed with all the rain. Roads not marked well, some one way, others two ways and narrow. Bath houses were exceptionally clean.
Tons of amenities and clean
This park is definitely not considered to be roughing it, but it was very nice. The entire park was paved with full hookups. The parking was spacious ( we have 20ft travel trailer) but we were by far the smaller rv in the park. There was 2 pools, a gym and a dog park. The location was also great, located close to attractions. If you are looking for the wilderness this is not the place.
love the bay side sites
We have been here twice 2011/2012 and 2012/2013. Each time was over Christmas and New Year. The bath houses were hard to get into due to cleaning schedules and no lights on. They do not have wi-fi but it you have 3G you get a full 5 bars. The beaches are beautiful and the water is emerald. There is also some nice hiking trails and a dock to fish on the bay side and put boats in Even with having to play bathhouse roulette I have to rate St. Andrews highly. Just for the view from our campsite!
Bad Campground
Camp sites were dirty and cramped. Beached we crowded and smelled. Water was murky and smelled. Panama City Beach was crowded, heavy traffic. General area was big disappointment. Skip this campground for sure.
st. andrews state park
Wasn't crazy about this park. I had a decent waterfront site, but it was more of an "urban" park, being so close to Panama City. Loud and crowded, and not much privacy. It was the peak of Spring Break, and Panama City was crawling with drunken college kids. I only stayed one night.
