Topsail Hill Preserve Review
This is a very nice RV park. The sites are separated with trees and plants for a little privacy. We stayed 3 nights and it was a very quiet park. The Park was in very good shape with the exception of some of the concrete in our spot at the entry point was uneven, which didn't affect our leveling the motorhome at all. The park was kept immaculate. Everyone was very friendly. They could use some pet refuse cans around the park other than the main dumpsters. The beach is 7/10 of a mile from the Park, but they have a tram that runs every hour taking campers to and from the beautiful beach. It was just a short walk from the tram drop off area to the beach. The restrooms were well maintained and clean. Highly recommend this park.
Awesome Christmas Stay!
This is the best state park ran RV campgrounds we have stayed. It is located on a beautiful preserve, about a mile from the beach (with hourly shuttles), has a large play area, and a full laundry facilities.
This RV park had water, sewer, and electric hookups. They also had cable hookups at the campsite! There was a small laundry room, which was clean. The spaces had lots of room in between which provided amble privacy.
Would I recommend this park? Absolutely. Would we come back? Absolutely.
Very Nice Campground
We'll be heading to Top Sail again in April. This will make our 8th year camping there and folks, it is always good!
Park Upgrades and Improvements
I reviewed this park awhile back but wanted to do a review update. They now have a tent site loop, added a small playground and have WIFI in the campground. We are sitting on site 66 and the signal strength is good.
Great fun.
For a state park this is one of the best. Was middle of winter but still warm enough to enjoy with a light jacket. Loved cool walks on the beach with our grandkids, and exploring the lake after a nice bike ride to it!
Excellant
This is a very nice campground. We stayed two nights going to our destination & one night on our return trip home. The staff is friendly. The park is EXTREMELY CLEAN. The restrooms have A/C and are clean. There is cable hook-up for the TV. We would stay here again if in the area. There is shopping close by with major grocery stores.
The Ritz of State Park Campgrounds
Topsail Hill Peserve SP is a premier camping destination in the NW region of Florida. This CG has it all, large level concrete pads, landscaped privacy, full hook ups on every site, pool, shuffle board, an hourly shuttle to the beach, hiking trails and more. The campground is about a mile from the beach but is an easy bike ride or take the shuttle. There is a bath house by the boardwalk and about 3 miles of dunes, sand and ocean. Destin is to the west but too far away to feel crowded. The one tiny drawback is they do NOT allow campfires at this park. This is a very mainicured campground and top notch in every way.
