Summer Visit

Under new ownership this year. Very clean very well run Centrally located close to great restaurants shopping and beaches of the West Coast of area. Summer specials from time to time. Heard they plan to keep the same traditions of former owners. Highly recommend this park if you visit the Sarasota area

Skipping Winter

This was our first real stint as full-time RVers. We skipped Winter in Tennessee and stayed at this park from the end of December thru the end of February. It's definitely a busy place during peak season, but still quiet at night. The managers are very nice, and the owner hosts a dinner every Wednesday and a breakfast every Saturday for the patrons of the park. John, a chef, does a fabulous job with the meals! And it's all complimentary! They have other activities in the park, as well. However, other than the meals we tend to keep to ourselves and do our own thing. We met a lot of great people. This tends to be a place that you need to reserve early for the next season. The only complaint I have is that the main street to the park, Doud Street, is very busy and cars fly down it, as it is a through road between two very busy 4 lane highways. I think a stop sign at an intersection on the street could alleviate the problem. The sites are spacious for Florida, although there is one section that is a little cramped. The pool was nice and remains a constant 86 degrees. Their was a decent gym with mostly dumbbells and a couple of treadmills. The laundry facility was adequate, and the shower facility (although we don't use it) was very clean. The location is great--- close to Siesta Key Beach, restaurants, and the Legacy Trail. We already have our reservation for the next Winter season!

Very Convenient

This nice little RV Park was a great score! For starters, the manager and owner were incredibly friendly and down to earth. They truly went out of the way to accommodate us. I understand this is a happening place during peak season, but our stay was nice and quiet. It was a fairly small park, but clean and very well cared for. The sites were crushed shells with a concrete patio. They even positioned us so as to get the evening shade. Each site had its own trash can. The cable was excellent (but we had to pay a few dollars more for it, no big deal really since the rate was discounted). They had a cute covered tiki bar that had cooler air and with a tv located beside the pool. They also had a gym with dumbbells, ellipticals, treadmills, and some hooks with bands and open space with TV for yoga, etc. They also had a club house for games, gatherings, etc. I didn't check out the laundry or bath facilities, but if it's anything like the rest of the park I am sure you will be fine. The RV Park was also very conveniently located to restaurants, grocery stores, and Siesta Key Beach! Finding this place was like finding an oasis in the middle of a desert!

Very Clean

We stayed here for 4 nights. The park facilities are very clean. The park is located in town and Doud Street actually is right between two auto sales lots. Our site was right on Doud Street, but the traffic wasn't too bad and the sites were made with crushed shells and had cement pads with picnic tables. The location was a short drive from area beaches. Over all, a nice place to stay.
