Last resort

The space I had was so small I couldn't put the awning out. To get in and out of the sites everyone around you has to move their vehicles because there's no place for them but in the road. I felt more like I was in a hotel then in the campground. The staff was all great band played in the bar till 10 at night keep in mind it's an open bar very noisy.

Ok but Pricey

Sites are large enough and level. Staff was nice. Bath houses are being upgraded (I noticed in an earlier review this was the case in April). Open bathhouses were below the levels of my usual experience with Koa. There are a lot of facilities (pool, beach, marina, bar) but given that the campground was mostly empty I thought it was a bit pricey for being 20 miles from Key West.

Beatiful Weather

We were here New Years Eve they had entertainment on the week ends. Not to loud. The weather was a balmy 85 degrees in January. The no-see-um's were out in full force as they always are in the keys. The bathrooms here were in the middle of being upgraded. KOA staff are some of the nicest people .. always helpful and let us add days onto our trip. We were going to stay 2 nights ended up staying 5 nights!! The pool was nice and seemed like it was heated. They also had a restaurant and a bar. There was a bait shop and boat rental along with a fishing pier and small beach.

EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN!

Excellent family friendly campground. Accommodated our 44 foot bus.(no shade where the big rigs park). No pads. These sites are graveled. Campground has a nice pool with bar. On site Key West style restaurant. Live band on weekends with bar b que. Bridge behind campground is accessible for fishing. Bait shop on site. Boat rental on site. Beach on site but bring your water socks as there are rocks.
