NO COMPASSION!!!!

We had rented a spot at Lazy Days Camp Resort in Welaka, FL for the Memorial Weekend. After traveling 6 hours to get there and getting ready to hook up our new truck camper, we were approached by the resorts “Karen” informing us we could not stay there because they don’t allow truck campers. I inquired why and she said she didn’t know she just enforces the rules. I politely informed her that we have permission of the owner of the lot, had paid our deposit and were never told that truck campers weren’t allowed. She told us it wasn’t her issue and that we needed to make other arrangements. I reminded her that it was Memorial Weekend and there we weren’t going to find another place to stay. She again said there was nothing she could do, rules were rules. No compassion what so ever! STAY FAR AWAY FROM LAZY DAYS RESORT!!! And tell your friends to do the same.

This RV Park is Not Closed

It is a great place to stay. There are boat slips, swimming pool, community center and other amenities.
I stay with my parents there when they come down to Fla from Ga. This place is quiet and secluded, clean and nice. I know my parents rent their lot for around $35 per night or $200 for a week or probably $500 for a month. This place is perfect to get away and have access to the St. Johns river.
