Right off the Highway but lots of ROAD NOISE !

Lots of road noise
You have to go a bit to get to this park, but it is actually right next to the interstate and, if you have your windows open at all, you get a LOT of road noise. Many of the sites are very long; gravel roads and gravel sites. Pretty level. Restrooms are okay. Pool but closed in February. A creek runs through the campground but signs prohibit wading or swimming in the creek. I think it would be pretty hard to keep kids out of it.
I didn't see any horseshoe pit. New owners bought it in 2007 and are working to expand and improve the park.
Small, clean & friendly
The campground is small. Roads and lots are gravel. The personnel are all nice , friendly and helpful. I would stay at this campground agaib and recommend it to others.
