Wide open

We stayed here towards the end of their season and there were a lot of spaces to choose from. Wide open with little shade. Quiet area. There is only water and electric but a dump station is on site. Very friendly and helpful staff on hand. We will be staying here again in the near future.

Army Camp

The water hookups are about 50' away, no shade and absolutely no nearby stores. The staff is very rude and treat you very suspiciously. It simply is less than a pleasure to stay.

Very disapointing and a negative experience

If you are looking for a place to get kicked out of, then stay here. We were there on a Saturday night and stayed until Sunday. We were never told that there was a "check out" time. I didn't realize that camp grounds have rules like a hotel. Actually hotels are a lot nicer when it comes to a late checkout. Oh and did I mention they called the police to kick us out? I will NEVER stay here again and suggest that if you want to get a police to escort you out, then stay here.

We weren't even doing anything. We are adults and were just finishing up our lunch and resting. So much for having a nice relaxing weekend. Thanks Big Rock.

I can only warn people. This place sucks and you will not be welcomed here.

Nice quiet and clean campground.

Stayed one night in our pop-up camper. Sites have electric service and water, but you will need a 50' host to connect as water connection is a good distance from camper.

Campground is clean, quiet and well maintained. Sites have a nice fire ring with grate for cooking. Gravel level drives for parking camper and plenty of grass for pitching a tent. Campground does have about 10 primitive sites for tent only camping.

The only drawbacks are there are no showers and little to no shade as campground is brand new in '13. The majority of the primitive tent sites are mostly shaded however.

Grand Opening

Park opened August 2, 2013. Well laid out with easy access level gravel sites. Electric is close access, water is available but requires 50' of hose. Nice walking trail. The park is by itself, not a lot close by. Regardless, clean, quiet, easy access, clean easy access dump station. Very nice very a public government owned park.
