Clean and pleasant

Nice clean park. The BBQ restaurant there is excellent. Easy in and out. Restrooms and showers were clean. Pool was seldom used but looked good.

Good for overnight stop

We stayed here en route to our final destination. There aren't many options in the St Louis area. This park is a bit off the highway (maybe 4 miles) but easily accessible and quite large sites. We had no problem in our pull-thru site and it was very level. Most of the sites seem to be occupied by semi-permanent or long-term residents. No cable tv but the St Louis stations are easily accessible by antenna, wi-fi service was very good. I would highly recommend the on-site Sawmill BBQ restaurant, especially the beef brisket. Yes we would stay here again.

Better than we Expected

There aren't too many options in St. Louis, and when family can't park our RV during our visits - we have in the past gone to the Casino Queen. But with their recent price increase, we decided to give Cahokia RV Parque a try.

And we are very glad we did. Friendly staff, the 30A spots were decently spaced and the location actually worked out better for us. While the CQ is across from the Arch and has access to public transit, the Cahokia RV Parque is actually more accessible to basic shopping and getting to South County, where our family is.

The laundry facilities where a bit cramped, and the WiFi was hit or miss. There is significant road and train noise, but you also get that at the Casino Queen. We really enjoyed the BBQ place onsite - good affordable food. And the surrounding neighborhood seemed just fine, several police officers frequent the BBQ restaurant too.

All and all, we like that we have this option for future visits. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
