Lots of amenities
Stayed here for a few nights- staff was very nice and helpful; lots of amenities including pool, snack bar, putt putt, playground for the kids. Only two downsides: geese wander on the sites by the lake and leave a mess and there are no hiking trails accessible that I can see.
Nice but disappointing in some aspects.
Nice campground but a lot of extra charges for things like golf ball charges to play at the "free" miniature golf course, tennis ball charges to play tennis, internet charges, etc. Arms of the lake were covered in green algae and looked disgusting. We were here for five days and the games in the game room were not fixed-majority did not work! Even though the weather was warm, the pool was closed and we were charged full price! Concrete spots were nice, but pretty close together. Majority of staff were nice but the young woman who checked us in was not. We were first-time visitors and expected maybe a smile!
Great for all ages
One the best campgrounds in the mid-west. Great club house, huge pool, snack bar, planned activities, paved roads, river access, no added fees to enjoy the park. Always clean, large sites, just can't say enough good things, would recommend to my friends.
