Traveler Reviews
A nice place to stay in downtown Springfield.
We stayed 3 nights in June and practically had the place to ourselves. Pretty quiet, just your typical city noise. Many of the sites were flat, we didn?t even need blocks, but some are on hills. If you want to camp on a grass site only a fee have full hookups. The bathhouses were only fair and didn?t get cleaned while we were there on a weekend. The host was on vacation.
Good for overnight
Just about 2 miles off I-55, and conveniently located near many historical sites. Many of the sites are on grass and some leveling will be required at just about all of them. All major networks available over the air, and satellite worked well at our site but many sites do have trees for shade.
No frills and quite affordable, it's good for an overnight stop but I would not want to stay several days here.
Great location
Not a bad park we was there to see the historical stuff mostly about Lincoln.
Not bad cg would stay again if I come through here again.
