Nice Park
Stayed here for a month while working in the area. Clean and quiet park, level sights, nice and handy to Greenwood & downtown Indy. Only thing that?s needed are locks on the bathroom doors. Would stay here again.
Convenient to the city
A pretty average RV Park in most respects, close to Indianapolis and the major highways to the south of the city. There is a fire station adjacent with sirens thru the day but not too much during the overnight hours. The park has many long-term residents while still offering plenty of sites for those looking for one night just passing thru or several nights to explore the local area. Access roads are paved while the sites themselves are gravel and mostly level. There is a small pond near the center of the park that offers catch and release fishing to guests. Laundry and showers are on-site. Nearly all sites are full hookup with both 50 and 30 amp service. There is a coded security gate that restricts public access during non-business hours; guests are provided the code needed for access.
The park offers cable tv and wi-fi, although we found the wi-fi unreliable especially during the busy evening hours. Satellite reception will work well at most sites but not all, so it's a good idea to request a proper site while making your reservation if possible. The sites themselves are shared electrical pedestals and shared water taps; as a result at some sites depending on the RV's themselves it can get tight in between the slides. This wasn't a problem at most sites but could understand that under certain conditions it might be.
We stayed here 4 nights in our travel trailer and would visit again.
Horrible customer relations
Near the end of a 14,000 mile trip to Alaska and return to NC. 36' class A towing a car. I have stayed in more than 100 RV parks, and never a problem til now. Requested a pull thru site. Was told only pull thru available was electric only...I agreed. Get there after hours, receipt and map were very unclear. Called park emergency #. "Sarah" offered to have maintenance guy to guide me. Discovered that "pull thru" site was a gravel overflow lot next to a shed, and only backing in was going to work. When I complained, "Sarah" insulted me by offering my money back, knowing that they're the only campground nearby. Then sent her husband to bang on my door, purportedly to get my side of the story. His folded arms and defensive posture told me otherwise. When I related my complaint, he said he would give me my money back, but wanted me to leave. I said the sheriff would need to do that. He said ok, and a deputy soon appears telling me that it was private property and hubby had the right to evict me. I left and stayed at a Walmart nearby. Appalling behavior...this couple obviously have a mutual chip on their shoulder. Will never go back, and will copy this report to every review site I can find.
