A little run down

The park itself is nice enough, and large with lots of hiking trails, a general store and cabins.

However the campground is a little run down. The sites are gravel back-ins, and some of them quite unlevel. On many loops, the electrical hook-ups are shared between two sites and require a 100' or more of extension cord to reach. Very odd.

The sites are decently spaced out, but there's not much distinction or privacy between them.

We paid the weekend rate of $26/night plus tax and park entrance fee. We felt the price was a bit on the high side for what is offered, especially considering weekends are pretty chaotic with families. We might consider returning during the week for both the cheaper rate AND less crowds.

AT&T and Verizon both had decent signals.
