McCormick's Creek State Park

Leafy and Green

This state park is just 15 miles NW of Bloomington Indiana. It’s a scenic, leafy park deep in the hardwoods of the region and the CG is heavily wooded as well. The roads are good and the CG is easily accessible. Sites are mostly back in, level, and gravel with electric. Note, there are no water hook ups per site, just spigots throughout the CG. The other minor downside is campfire smoke tends to linger in the CG. I suspect due to the heavy woods and topographic location. Bathhouses are kept clean and sites are reserve-able. Verizon and AT&T signal strength is good.
