A Taste of Kansas
There are few choices between I-70 and I-80 while traveling Hwy 81. There is one Xpeditions TV stopped at we feel is perfect for an overnight stay; Evergreen Acres.
Located north of Belleview Kansas, east off Hwy 81 down a gravel road, you find yourself parked under trees on a farm. It's quiet, beautiful, and the air smells fresh. Song birds and tree frogs, and the feeling of waking up on a farm, make this a gem of a resting place.
There are the essentials here; 20, 30 and 50 amp power from a lighted pedestal, sewer, water that tastes good, and a level grassy pad to park on with a picnic table nearby. There is no wifi, but cell reception is good.
There are only a few spots to choose from but each one is an exceptional choice. It's probably a good idea to call ahead. Let the phone ring awhile. Mildred and Henry, an older couple, might take a little longer to answer.
Xpeditions TV rates this park with 5 stars. Though there is no pool, laundry, or amenities commonly found in larger parks, Evergreen Acres is quaint and beautiful. When you arrive you can be sure Mildred and Henry will make you feel at home.
