Beautiful Park, nice amenities, clean, large. Only a one night stopover for us. Easy late check-in. Would stay again.
Good people
If you are coming here on a weekend, be sure to call ahead. It is mainly a very tidy long-term park. Campsites are located in a manufactured home community right in town. Everything, including the campsites, is paved and well lighted. Each site provides water, electricity, sewer and a picnic table. No open fires allowed. Outdoor cooking must be on a grill.
Only cash and personal checks are accepted. Very good wifi. Coin laundromat on site.
Good Sam park.
We came on Sunday without calling ahead and they were kind enough to come and set us up in a site.
Tolerable
Close to downtown if that is what you want. Nothing more than a vacant lot with parking stripes.
The best!
Jackson Rancheria is the best managed RV park we've ever been in. Everything works, the grounds are perfectly maintained, the people are friendly and the view is awesome.
Tropic Winds
Really enjoy this park. Lots of room, warm all winter, nice warm pool, workout room, tennis. Very accommodating management. Our favorite park. Lots of wind, usually no bugs, half hour to Padre Island. Airport 2 blks away. We stay here under Thousand Trails membership, last 6 winters. Current staying all summer.
Nice enough but some negatives
We found the staff friendly and helpful. Campground older but well maintained. Lots of activities and things for kids, pool is there but small. The river and tubing looked like lots of fun. Close to what we wanted to do, sight see in Asheville area. The biggest downside, in our opinion, was the close proximity to the state highway and railroad tracks with their associated noise.
