Small, quiet and clean
We thought this park was very nice. The staff was attentive. Park had 30 or so sites, some with sewers. Website wasn't clear that water and electricity were available on all sites. Everything was clean and most important the CG was very convenient to all of the great things to see in Bardstown. We loved the Civil War Museum!! Recommend this place!
Nice park
The good news, pretty park with lots of trees. The bad part, lots of trees. No possibility of satellite reception.
Compact Gem
We really liked this park, although it doesn't offer many amenities. It is carved out of a huge piece of land that features an 18-hole golf course (holes 1 and 10 are feet away from the campground), and My Old Kentucky Home. The Heaven Hill Distillery and the Bourbon Heritage Center is walking distance. Blacktop roads and pads, but very few of the pads are level. However, the spaces between sites are reasonably generous, given the space allotted to the RV park. We had to add a second hose to reach the water and a second electrical cord to get to the power box because two adjoining sites share water and power. The two room showers are ample with lots of hooks and a wide place to sit.
While it is in town, don't plan to ride bikes out of there because Stephen Foster is narrow, has no shoulder, and is a busy road.
Bardstown is a lovely little town and we ended up spending 3 days there.
