Unhappy camper
Spot too close to noisy neighbors, not level, can?t open awning fully due to tree. This spot should not have been chosen for our size fiver, asked cart guy & he said ? last one was bigger than yours?. Don?t stay here, for a KOA, it?s bottom line.
Rv camping
Great place. Great staff. Very nice and helpful.
Good access for large rigs to park
Easy access to campground from freeway. Staff are all friendly and very accommodating. In fact, at our request we were moved to a new site after the office parked another rig not more than 5 ft next to us (after all slides were out). The park was not full so there was no need to park rigs one on top of each other.
The laundry, office and grounds were clean. WiFi however, is not as good as dial-up so be prepared. The cable for the tv didn't work well at our first location but was great at second location in park.
There's a trail to the lake which is a nice walk but be prepared for the trash you'll find along the way. Pride of one's state is not a strong point.
Considering all things, we would definitely stay here again. Did I mention how great the staff are???
Great location to the highway.
Quiet and beautiful. Nice people running the campground. Sites are nice and wide with great cable and hookups.
Nice shaded sites
This park had nice amenities. Cable TV hook up included, free WiFi, easy pull thru sites with lots of shade. Our site had a nice stone fire-pit with wood already in it. There was a playground for the kids with a cool excavator that was too big for my kids but older kids would like. Even though you're in the mountains the sites are nicely graded and level gravel (and concrete pads are available as well). We liked the ease of on/off the highway and you don't hear the highway at all, feels like you're in the middle of the woods.
Camping in July
Campground is clean. Staff is friendly. It is close to the interstate, but doesn't feel like it once you are actually in the campground. We spent two days there and the campground was close to everything we wanted to do. We would stay there again if we travel through that area again.
Overnight stay
Very nice park, will definetly stay when we have more time. Highly recommend, the people that run this park very nice and helpful.
