Nice Camp
Came to this camp on it's a tour so we were booked here. It has very nice concrete pads, big rig friendly, if you fish plenty of ponds that you can fish from your site. I saw only two pull through sites. Would stay here again if in area.
Found our second home
Pulled out yesterday after spending 4 wonderful months there. Owners and staff are like family now after our extended stay. The area in general, the food & the people are fantastic! Not sure who's is better the people or the food! Fell in love with Cajun!!! Already made reservations for 8 months from now!!
No fish
Love the park but my grandson came to fish.....no fish in two days, he caught one 4 inches and the rest were 1-2 inches, I spent $10 on worms, he was going to catch & release even if he had caught a large one
Friendly and supportive
We stayed here for only one night and we will definitely return for a longer stay. Very supportive and friendly staff. Quiet and clean.
'Old fashioned family camp'
With 5 10-acre fishing ponds, this camp caters to fisherpeople. No license required. The ponds are stocked with bass, bream, catfish and something called sacalait. It is quite far off the beaten track. Roads are gravel and about half of the sites are now concrete pads. They circle one of the fishing ponds. While there are trees near sites 1 to 22 they are quite small and don't give much shade. No trees on the rest of the sites. Usual private RV park spacing. Small laundry. Clubhouse. The night we were there (Thursday) park residents were having a fish fry outside the clubhouse.
