Lots of trees
This lovely state park is located on a peninsula, surrounded, they tell us, by some great fishing. We aren't fisherpeople, but we can still enjoy the many, many trees and the wonderful, wide, spacious sites. Tonight an armadillo toured the edges of our campsite as we were sitting by the campfire! Now how cool is that!!!
The roads are paved as are the sites. Each comes with a picnic table and fire ring. There are 2 large bathhouses for the 73 sites. The showers are very nice and the water is nice and hot.
It also has cottages at the end as well as the rv camping near the entrance. An altogther special place.
