Basic park, fine for overnight.
There aren't very many parks on this stretch of the I-10 and this is one of the few options, so I stopped here. This is pretty much the opposite of one of the fancy RV resorts (no amenities to speak of, roughly maintained road/pull-thrus) but the price of $20 is commensurate with the basicness of the park and while not fancy, it was perfectly fine for an overnight. The area around is interesting-- marshy rural land with some interesting Cajun restaurants about 10 miles away in Jennings. I liked the pond next to the park-- could be fixed it up to be pretty cool.

We were traveling through LA & had our car hit a tire which cracked the radiator, we pulled off & into the RV Park, Mr. Miller & all the gentlemen in town were extremely helpful and friendly. Nick the Mechanic stopped by & helped out...wonderful people, would go back to visit!!
