Hidden gem
A nice municipal campground near downtown Lafayette. This is a basic campground with no amenities beyond water and electric at each site. They do allow grey water releases on the ground so that facilitates a longer stay. There is the usual dump station on the way out. The sites around the perimeter of the campground are very private and several have nice views of a little creek. The sites on the interior are nothing special. Many sites are quite small and might not accommodate a larger rig. The road is paved but in need of repaying. Overall a bargain and we would definitely come back.
Hidden treasure
We were going to arrive after the office closed so Clyde gave us the gate code and offered to settle up the next morning. Beautiful and quiet
Closes after hours
Arrived on a Saturday eve 11:15pm, no one around and gates locked. Unable to rate-unable to stay!
Quiet Retreat
I live less than 10 miles away. I like going to this park for quiet study time. Its affordable, convenient, and the employees are always kind. Its behind the Acadiana Park, yet with the surrounding tree line you would never know it. Close to the local home depot and shopping centers. No cable, no internet, dump location on your way out(near the office), some areas have picnic tables, and a security gate with code encloses the rv park.
