Grand Ecore RV Park

Great RV Park!

We found this park while looking for a place to stay for our visit to the 2018 Nachitoches Christmas festival. The Park was built about a year ago as a joint venture with the Red River Waterway Commission and a private contract operator. It looks brand new with well manicured grounds and very well kept facilities.
The park is located in a mature pecan tree grove which should provide a lot of shade in the summer, and we were invited to collect as many pecans as we could find. The shower/laundry building was the nicest and cleanest we have seen in years, with 12 individual bath/ shower rooms (2 handicap equipped) and 4 or 5 washer/dryer units.
We did not tour the activities center, but it looked very inviting with several large rocking chairs on the front porch.
The entrance is gated and accessed using a code, so we felt very secure while in the park. There is a great playground for the kids as well.
Every staff member we came in contact with could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Their website has a great video tour of the park and their park map is well detailed.
The park is about 10-15 minutes from downtown Nachitoches. One note of caution on the drive in if you come after dark. The turnoff is not lighted, and if you miss it, getting turned around could be a problem. The park is in a rural setting and very quiet at night but there is a shooting range nearby, so don't plan on sleeping too late in the morning.
We had a wonderful stay, and have already booked a spot for next year's Christmas Festival. We highly recommend the Grand Ecore RV Park!
