Close to I10
There are 2 RV parks just off I10 at exit 263 in Slidell and they are pretty similar. I think which one you go to depends on whether you have a Good Sam membership or not. NO East has paved roads, but the sites are gravel with tiny islands of grass or mud in between. The turns are a bit tight and I wouldn't want to drive around here in a big rig. It also has a few cabins for rent with kitchenette and bath, bigger than the ones you see at KOA. The laundry is near the entrance and has 5 washers and 5 dryers. The bathhouse has 3 very nice showers with real doors and lots of hooks. It has murals on the walls and is very nice. Wifi was good. They do a free shuttle to New Orleans; the French Quarter is about 30 mi away.
