not as advertised.

in fact it is not much like the website advertises at all. For $50/night, there is not much here to shout about. The 'conference center'/'amenity area', is a disaster area as is the barely functional laundry. The cabins may be better but look fairly basic although they are probably sufficient. The RV sites are fairly good, especially the ones overlooking the lake. Not sure if the cable hook up was working, it didn't appear so, but I may be wrong.
Unfortunately the lake was not at it's best when we stayed, as the level was low, but this may have been something to do with dam maintenance scheduled for September.
Potentially, this site could be terrific if they cleared out the old rundown trailers, put in more rental cabins and complete the RV pads etc. The conference facilities are perhaps a bit pretentious but could be a great bar/restaurant/music area. The laundry needs to be put to rights, the website picture is a joke. However, the website is quite nice, the resort just needs to live up to it, perhaps get a KOA rating, etc. Perhaps the site is a victim of the economy, but it could be a really good one with the right investment.
