Traveler Tips
Traveler Reviews
Good for visiting Boston
The strongest point is the connection by boat or train to Boston. I wouldn't spend a day on the site, the amenities are not Too good and not Too closeby.
Quiet, interesting location
Spent 2 nights at this park,we were given a spot, but really not information about the park(wi/if code, where the bathrooms were...). We felt safe in leaving the motorhome to spend a long day taking the train to Boston. $74.00 for 2 nights, water and electric only.
Beautiful location
Interesting place. Location is great. Water and 30 amp. Power. They do have spots on the black top by the water, parking lot style and also above on the grass. No actual sites on the grass, Chalk lines to divide sites. Big drawback is No dump station on site, you must go down the road to the city sewer plant. It was chaos there as many tried to leave at the same.
Busy marina campsite
We did not have a reservation but could stay overnight on one of the tarmac RV sites next to the marina parking. Toilet and shower facilities were limited for the size of the campsite. Otherwise and okay site.
Great Place
Winter Island is one of the best places I have ever parked my RV.if you are lucky enough to get a waterfront space, it's amazing and beautiful. No full hook ups, and you may need an extension cord for your power, but an unbeatable location. It used to be a US Coast guard facility. Lots of room to maneuver for big coaches.
