If you don't need electricity and water, this is a fabulous campground. Many of the sites are on the bay; many are huge. Out of the 52 non-tent sites, 16 are for really big rigs. In many of them, the only way you would know that anybody else was in the park is because you happen to see a vehicle drive by. Sites are mainly flat.
The showers are at the entrance to the campground, so you need to drive to them. There are toilets scattered throughout the campground. While there isn't water at the sites, you can fill your tank at the front. There are also faucets throughout the campground but you can't attach a hose to them.
Very lovely bay. Great to watch the tide come in and go out. We paid the out-of-state price; Maine natives are half price.
The park is open all year round, but they turn off the water in mid-October.
