Gravel sites
We appreciated the gravel site after a lot of grass sites in Canada. The site was ample, but the 30 amp didn't work and we had to use 20 amp power.
It is close to Freeport and has its own attraction--the desert dunes. You can walk the dunes free when you camp here, or you can take the tram tour for half price.
They are open early May to mid-October. We had great wifi reception in our RV, so I gather they have improved their wifi.

Nice campground
Overall this is a great campground. Not great though if you need 50 amp service or need wi-fi. They don't have 50 amp at all and wi-fi is only available at the office.
