Great Park, Price is Right
Convenient for day trips exploring the Keweenaw Peninsula, and at $20 per night very affordable. They do not take reservations but also rarely rent out all 12 full-service spots. It's located on the southeast corner (rear) of the casino parking lot. Sites are mostly level but some on the lower portion of the lot look prone to puddling. All sites are back in and odd #'s have to cross over for water. There is no shade, some grassy area on both sides of the asphalt pad, and all sites have a picnic table. Only the sites furthest from the highway offer 50 amp service so plan accordingly. There is no room for your tow vehicle on your pad so just park in the casino parking lot nearby. Some late-night noise over the weekend because it is a casino but it didn't disturb us much.
Excellent complimentary wifi signal. There are no over-the-air television channels that I could get with the roof top antenna but the satellite antenna works very well. They could do a better job of keeping the trash bins emptied. While we were here the winds were strong and most had blown over; thankfully the contents were bagged and didn't get all over the place. The grassy area was well maintained.
There aren't too many RV park options in the local area, and while this is a low frills site (not counting the adjacent casino) it is very convenient and affordable. We stayed here in a travel trailer and if visiting the area a second time would stay here again.
