Nice Park
This is a sweet little park to camp in. Shade and sun areas with winding foot path next to a nice little stream. Walking distance to town and a great grocery store just across the street. If your like big city camping, this is not for you. But if you are looking for quiet, restful, clean, place. This is it!
Don't trust the locals here, stay at own risk
I have stayed at this park several different times with a group, this time, I was the victim of theft. The locals cross over the bridge intot he campground and case it all day long. Then at night, just like a cockroach they cross again, and then your coolers disappear. In the past our group has had bikes and coolers disappear. I called the Sheriff's department and they promptly came and took my statement and went looking. He too is sure it was the locals from across the bridge, but when it is a cooler and beer, they ditch the cooler, and drink the beer, so there is really nothing at all that they can do. IF, we go back again, I will be ready, the locals have pissed me off now, and I will have trail cameras, and booby trapped coolers, and motion lights so they won't make us an easy mark again.
Stay here at your own risk! Do not ever leave anything unattended or unlocked where the locals can get to it, or even have the chance to case you stuff.
