Wonderful Campground near Lake Superior
We stayed here for a week in our motorhome. The campground is divided into Modern and Semi-modern. The modern section consists of 72 sites with electricity and are suitable for tents and various RVs. The semi-modern section consists of 36 sites suitable for tents or RVs dry camping. You should go in with empty waste tanks and a full water tank. Water is available a locations throughout the campground. The dump station is easy to get in and out.
The restrooms/showers are excellent. I believe there were 8 or 10 showers. They are private with a locking door and a separate area for dressing with a bench and hooks for hanging clothes, towels, etc.
This campground is located on the Tahquamenon River and just across Michigan 123 from Lake Superior.
It is a short drive from the campground to Paradise, MI and a few miles further to the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum.
