Prairie Cove Campground & RV Park

Unfortunately there is no access to the lake, though the panoramic view is very nice.
This a small park with 14 RV sites and 10 Tent sites. The RV sites are long and level and alternate direction so that two rv's share a single power pedestal. This make these "pairs" of rv's rather close. All power is 30amp.
The utilities are easy hook up. The first six rv sites have sewer.
The park is well cared for by the husband and wife owners; very nice to visit and talk with. The lawns are very expansive and maintained. The park is clean and neat. The bathrooms were very clean and comfortable and the showers hot with plenty of force. There is no laundry. Antenna TV brought in lots of stations. This is a very nice park for a stop to get off the road. It is safe and secure, though it lacks in amenities, it is a comfortable stop.
There is a $2.00 fee per dog, per day. Which seems unusual as there are no dog facilities like a dog park or even a fenced run. We clean up after our dog. I don't know anyone that doesn't.
