RV park out on a point into the St Louis River
Loved this park. Very friendly, and there is a relatively new city walking trail that goes out around the point. Really great if you have a canoe or kayaks...you can launch right from the campground (the river is more like a large lagoon at this point). There is also a fishing dock. Bathrooms were clean and well looked after. There was wi-fi for our daughter. They did charge us for putting up a tent alongside our small travel trailer. You could walk to Duluth Zoo, and you are also close to Spirit Mountain. Downtown Duluth and Jay Cooke State Park are an easy drive. Would definitely return.
