Very nice park
This is a really great RV park that is convenient to the adjacent theme parks, the KC metro area, or other nearby towns. Despite some confusion on how to enter the park and the exact location of the office to complete the check-in process the sites themselves are really nice. The park is adjacent to the Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun theme parks, and offers a view of the roller coaster. Although the theme parks were not open the day that we arrived one could imagine the coaster in plain view and hearing the screams of delight from its' passengers.
There are 80+ sites here and they're pretty long, mostly level, concrete pad, some are pull-thru, others are back-in sites, and the park roads are also concrete. Cable television is included in the daily rate, all major networks also available with your over-the-air antenna, and a satellite antenna would work well because while there are trees/shrubs at nearly every site they are still very young and not tall. The downside is potentially not much shade on a very hot day. The park offers wifi service but the entire time we spent there it seemed overwhelmed with the number of users and as a result was not reliable. However because of the city location cellular service is terrific. Every site has a picnic table, a grill, and a trash can. Several cabins and cottages are available for those without an RV.
The park is very popular and sells out many weekends and during holiday time periods. There is some traffic noise from the interstate highway, but mostly from the adjacent access road to the park itself and especially from a truck/trailer maintenance facility that lies south of the RV park. The park was very clean and well maintained, we stayed here in a travel trailer and would stay again.
Since the park is relatively new, the trees are 6 feet tall and under.
