HORRIBLE
I have camped near Current River for 16 years in a row and have never had the experience I had at current river outfitters. The owners were rude and hateful. They would even curse at you. They not only charge expensive rates to camp, but also charge $11.00 per night per person. You are made to wear a wrist bracelet the entire time you are there like you are in kindergarten. The sites were a joke and we only had two NASTY port-potty’s near our sites. The electrical box burned up two campers plugs in our group due to low voltage. The lady at the desk even has a sign on her desk that says "this aint burger king, you don’t get it your way." I have never had such a bad experience in my life!!! WILL NEVER RETURN.
Worse than bad
Rude. My wife said the owner talked rude to her but he denied it. Then I heard him talk to her when I was around the corner. He's a liar. THe place smells of sewer.
It is located by town but the local people keep you up all night while the campgroung is on lockdown until dawn.
