Snowing Cottonwoods
Pros:
Nice clean park
Friendly staff
Great View of Mountains
Access to Creek for fishing
Cons:
Cottonwood trees snowed on us the whole time and it gets tracked into camper, shower, everywhere.
Need more restrooms/Showers has to make several trips to find one open.
Need more staff at desk very slow, bad at not answering the phone.

Riverside haven
We almost spent night at Yellowstone's Mammoth Hot Springs, which looked like a military encampment dug into the side of a hill with very little shade or landscaping. Fortunately, it was full and we went on to this lovely site. Right on the river, lots of shade trees, what look to be very nice, recently constructed cabins. Much nicer setting than Mammoth, well equipped play area (with indoor arcade and game room), relaxed attitude toward pets, facilities well maintained, surprisingly well stocked store. Easy access to Rt 89, but zero road noise. Wish all KAO's were as nice as this one.
