Well kept park
The campsite was clean with a nice picnic table. The people were friendly and the pool looked clean. We stayed here in May, in a pull-through slot for our RV. Enjoyed a lot.
Horrible
I made reservation for a pull through spot for 4 nights, but the spot they gave me was horrible, looked like it used to be the spot people pulled in to register, right in the entrance to the park, couldn't even hook up the sewer without 30 ft of pipe. We did move and the spot was better, but this park has some awful spots, ok for a night, but don't stay here any longer. I suggest the KOA
Ok park for the money
Stayed 4 nights. Never did get the cable to work. Staff said they checked the connection and it was working. We followed their directions to the 't'. Not rocket science and we have never had problems in the past. Park has a lot of road noise and spots are tight for large rigs. The turn into park comes up fast and is on a blind curve so be careful when entering park. We've stayed at Wilsons in the past and would stay at this park again over the other. Wifi worked well as did 30 amp, water and sewer. We're surprised Asheville doesn't have anything better.
Avoid this Place
We checked in this Park after having been in a state park for a few nights. When we made the reservation we were looking for wi-fi and cable so that we could have a chance to get caught up with our communication and just relax. They indicated that they had both and were included in the nightly rate. We found out that the cable flat did not work after trying to follow the instructions for nearly an hour. We were unable to open even one web page during our stay there. When talking to other guests we were to our experiences were pretty common. I questioned the manager about this when checking out and she indicated that I didn't know how to set up the cable and she would show me . I told here I followed her instructions and was not new to pairing a remote to a TV. She told me not to yell at her and I should leave. I then asked for a reduction in the rate and she became more rude and said those services are complimentary and could not guarantee that the would work. This was our first visit to Asheville, NC.. It will be our last.
Will b back
Great location. Staff was helpful & nice.
Loud
Loud and fast traffic feet from your site. Cement pads have holes in them. Old water and sewer lines everywhere covered with old milk crates. Very tight road to get there and VERY tight to get in.
Don't stop here!
Horrible place. Doesn't deserve one star paid for pull through and got a postage stamp sized space that barely held 25 ft and certainly no place for the tow. Power out all night and not a manger to be found!
Beautiful View
You can see Biltmore from the far end of the property. Nice pool. Pull thrus are down below without the good view. The back in spots have a nice view. Steep entrance hill, but we did not drag towing our car. We stayed here in a motor home.
Nice older park
We were in the lower level with new trees, little shade. It will improve with time. Upper level had some tight sites. Our area was level. Very quiet with a little road noise occasionally. Nice people. Park was kept clean & neat. Real close to the Farmer's Market. Good base camp for visiting Asheville.
