Nice place but...

The campground is very nice. We are here on a free weekend voucher and have just went thru the sales pitch. All the amenities are too notch. The membership however is very high if you buy into it. We politely said no thanks and took our free 30 day camping pass. BUT.... The camping pass is only good Sun-Thurs nights...who has time to camp in the middle of the week like that?? Regardless we are enjoying the get away in a quite little back woods campground.

Rainy Day

It's rainy but the Park is beautiful. Dog park today was great for Bodie. Staff very professional and friendly. Fellow campers are friendly but not bothersome. A little isolated from attractions but a great bass lake(s).

Great park

This is a great place to come and visit. They have a lot of shaded sites but they do not have too many that have full hook ups but they are working on adding more. They have plenty to do for people of all ages. We have two children who love going here. Every weekend they have a different theme and usually has a band that plays under the tent. At 10 at night starts quite tome and it is very quit. This is a members only park but you can go for a free weekend as long as you take a tour of the park. This park is quite far from any store so make sure that you come with all your supplies. They have a nice general store but can be pricey. We like it so much here we bought a membership.
