Nice place a few issues
Yes its a nice place. Very small dog park. Inconsistent electric voltage. Excellent water. Super sites which cost more are a bit larger and back up to the stream.
However. Its like camping when i was a kid. No cell phone service no matter what carrier. They offer free wifi! Ha its slow and very limited. You are allowed 250 mb a day and if you go over you are punished and they turn it off for the day you went over AND the entire next day! You cannot buy more are negotiate for extra band width. Only one spot in the campground has visibility for satellite so you have to use their "cable" which is their satellite service. 14 stations of quality straight out of 1950. Husband and wife team have been there 13 years and rule with an iron fist. They watch your dog while he poops and points out that you need to pick it up. And this was while we were in the dog area. They ask that you not let your dog pee anywhere but in the dog area? Have you ever told your dog " wait hold it till we get inside the gate?
They really are doing a disservice to the area in that we usually will research where we would like to visit ,have lunch or go shopping before we start our day. Without internet ( cause you cannot surf with 250 mb ) there is no research. You have to drive down the mountain about3 mile to get a signal. Verizon works better up the mountain than att.
So would i go back? Sure but i would want my own satellite internet if i could afford it . Just be prepared to totally disconnect from todays interactive society.
