My name is Randy Morgan and I am the new owner at Riverside Golf and RV Park here in Morganton, NC. We took over April 1st, 2014 and we have cleaned the place up. We don't have the go carts or do we play loud music. We have cleaned up the campground and have plans to put a bath house hopefully sometime in 2015. I run this as a golf facility and campground and not really sure what was going on under previous management just that it was not a good atmosphere and bad on the eye. This RV park is now under new management as of 04/01/14. There have been many improvements made to the grounds including the RV park. There are full-time staff available every day and a very nice driving range, mini golf, and large golf shop/pro shop with rooms for parties and gatherings. We are located beside a beautiful greenway and the Catawba River. We take great care to keep the grounds clean, comfortable, and quiet. Not a good experience
We stayed over Thanksgiving 2013 here and will not stay here again. We arrived on Thursday to find someone had taken the spot we reserved. The other spot management directed us to had a large amount of sewage on the ground and we couldn't stay there. We ended up taking a 30 amp spot (when we needed a 50) and going to a local Walmart for an adapter. Even in that spot, there was trash all around and on the picnic table. The dumpster up front near the office was also overflowing the whole time we were there. We saw one person that we assumed worked there only one time while we were there. There were no bath houses that we saw on the property either. Also, we paid for a 50 amp but were never offered a refund or reduction of any kind for our trouble.

Peace and quiet? Not during the daytime!
If you want peace and quiet during the daytime, DO NOT STAY AT THIS RV PARK. They crank music over their loud system ALL DAY LONG, so there is no peace and quiet to be had after 10 or 11am! I have actually had to turn my television on and turn it up loud just to avoid the blaring music.
