Rustic campground
Surrounded by farmland, we have stayed here a few times for work in the area. There are lots of permanent residents, and permanent RVs that stay year round. But the sites we have stayed in we're perfectly adequate. Electric worked, water worked, sewer worked. You have to pay for WiFi and it is very spotty, even so. Not worth the money, in our opinion. Owners have always been helpful, Cheryl even gave me her cell number to contact her... since the office is only open 9-3 each day and we work 7-7. LOVE LOVE LOVE the new fenced in dog park!!! New gravel on the main road in had helped immensely & new playground looks nice. Wish they would update the laundry. It's big & they work but the dryers are old. The price I listed reflects the monthly rate we paid. We stayed 2 months.
Keep driving
This park is unkept. Roads are terrible. Many live-ins with overgrown grass/weedy sites. Website makes this place look fabulous but photos are obviously not recent. All dumpsters are in one location and it's not picked up enough for such a large park. You have to run from the smell/flies. WiFi cost $15/week. Ours worked for 2 days. Price reflects weekly rate not including electric I'm waiting for the meter reading. Store is run down managers only work 9-3 and don't seem to care about their business.
