Great!
Large sites clean and folks are grit
45? class A towing
Nice & clean
Niche, clean an good wifi!
All the basics, done well
This is an rv park that offers a safe, clean, and comfortable stop for visiting Albuquerque. It is an easy exit off
I-40, and though close road noise is minimal. This is a very clean and orderly park, it is obvious as soon as you pull off the road. The roads are asphalt, the sites are long, level pull through hard packed gravel. Utilities are convenient and hook up is easy. Long pushers will probably have to unhook their tow. The sites are not crowded and each has a picnic table.
The park is very attractive with desert landscaping that appears to be professional and consistently maintained.
All the sites are tidy and well kept. This is a well managed park with an office that is always manned.
This is not a resort, it is an RV Park and they do that well. There is no pool, or playground and yet there are three, yes three, big fenced in dog parks. One in each corner of the park.
There are rules regarding dog breeds, and age of rv units accepted (none built before 2000) it would always be a good idea to check. Other rules regarding aesthetics make it an enjoyable place to stay.
Wi-Fi is through Tengointernet, a park provider, the office gives you a code. Registration and log-in was not easy but can be successful after multiple tries. Once on, you'll find the wi-fi is just slow to impossible and very irritating. Better coverage is needed for such a big part.
The office building is also a recreation room, and a meeting room, and men's and women's bathrooms, and a laundry. This is an attractive building that looks new. In the rec area there is a big screen tv, and also two high end professional pool tables. There is also comfy furniture with couches, chairs, and card tables and chairs.
The office also has a small store with some treats and rv necessities. The laundry looked well maintained.
The bathrooms and showers were very clean and sparkling. The facilities looked quite new and are obviously monitored and cleaned. These would be the bathrooms to use.
There is another bathroom facility on the grounds about half way into the park. This is a free standing building with unisex bathrooms. They are probably clean and safe, and yet a person is not as comfortable as they would be in the office bldg bathrooms. These bathrooms look just a little unkempt and ragged, clean but not that clean.
It appeared that some of the fixtures needed repair or updating. I would go to the office.
At night the park is lit by municipal style pole lighting. You won't need your flashlight to walk the dog.
This is a safe and secure stop for a night or a couple of days. It is a competently run park for your comfort.
Not impressed
Granted the cost per night is cheap, but add an extra fee to that for Internet. Which so far we have not been able to get to work. We are stacked in here on top of each other and have no cable. Would not return. I suppose for the cost some would see this as a great place to stay. I do not!
Nice stay
Nice, well kept park. Easy on and off freeway. Wide, level sites.
Very clean!
Very nice staff and super clean amenities! Also a very clean doggy yard

The High Desert RV Park is a fantastic place to stay when traveling to or through Albuquerque and the surrounding areas. All of the sites are pull through, the owner/manager is on site and was very nice.
The bathrooms and showers were the very cleanest of any bathroom we have been in, no competition! Within the city there are several RV parks, all are a few miles out, and all are more expensive. This Campground is an absolute gem for price, ease, and cleanliness! Although the other parks in the area boasted of having more and better accommodations, we drove by several and they looked no different or better, especially not for the price difference, they only charge $19.95 and take almost all travel discounts as well. Clark & Ellen give a definite paws up!
