Manager Denise is Great!
Super manager on site. Denise is so friendly and helpful, provided us with brochures and info on the local attractions and places to eat. Park itself is just a big gravel parking lot. Tightly packed in with no picnic table or shade. It is right next door to a city park with a walking and bike trail which is nice. Regular price of $40 is too high but the Passport America 1/2 price made it ok. Also, nearby train runs at nite blowing horn?.
Nice Clean RV Park
Great little park. Easy check in process and budget friendly. Full service hook ups, new city zoo and a city park. Learned there is a second location around the corner that has restrooms, showers, cable, and wifi. Both locations have pull throughs.
Great basic RV Park - Quiet and Convenient
This park is about a 2-acre gravel RV park in-town, with full connects at each parking area. The eight in the center and north are 50-amp, the rest are 30-amp. The 'check in' process can either be done at the self-service counter in the back of the park 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, or you can call ahead and reserve a spot in advance. The owner does have a park manager, but he is split between the RV park and the nearby Mobile Home park. A call at anytime, and he can help you out. I've never had response time longer than 10-minutes.
This park is next to the city zoo, and a city park. You are only about 2-minutes east of the center of Roswell. I have stayed there multiple times, and it is always the quietest park I've ever been in. All RV's are modern and well-kept, no 'riff-raff', decent side of town, moderate traffic on the main road, and decent shade in the park. Security is great, I've never had trouble in the park.
Definitely a great place to 'stop and spend a night, or a week' - all current rates, numbers, park rules and other details are on the billboard, near the self-help desk in the back. Easy, just make out payment, drop it into a park envelope, date it and drop that in the strongbox. Workers check the park regularly. No wi-fi, but the lots are quite spacious, so that you can set up your dish easily.
Rates are available for daily, weekly and extended.
