Nice shorterm, not so nice longterm.

Good place to camp short term. Not good for annual sites which I have. High association fee of 800.00 which is required and resident must be voted in by board members yearly ( so be nice and don't complain ), as well as a 300.00 yearly fee. Not friendly to my wife and I who are full timers but are friendly to overnight campers. This full timer not treated well as I refuse to join their clique. No diversity as far as race goes and were unfriendly to my disabled wife who has bi-polar illness. No handicap ramp into office. Speed bumps are too high for cars causing them to bottom out. Roads not well maintained and management will not take responsibilty for any damage incurred by roads. County road to get into park is dirt and is 7 miles long and not well maintained (washboard). Office becomes retallitory if you complain, threatening to terminate your lease with one office worker stating, " We checked with our lawyers and we can do it "! Much favoritism toward preferred residences. Not very many things to if you do not own an ATV. No pool but there is a horse shoe pit. Restrooms and showers are clean and there is a laundrymat. Park is pet friendly but no agressive breeds allowed. No Saturday mail delivery. Regular power outages and power hook-up boxes for permanent residences in desperate need of upgrades. I have personally seen blackened and burned boxes. Has 30 amp and 50 amp service. There is no store or propane sales. There is ice but cannot get to it unless people are in the office. Nearest store is 23 miles away. Most overnight sites are not shaded. There is one cabin that has everythin icluding coffe pot, radio, silverware, microwave, and small refrigerator as well as a toilet and shower, but is a bit expensive. There is a pretty nice lodge with two rental rooms, an exercise room, small library, and a pool table but needs new pool sticks. Also has a full kitchen, but this is locked most of the time. This is an adult park with no children allowed if full time. Would not recommend full time residence here but is quite beutiful for short term stays with lots of ATV trails.
